Pokémon Evolving Skies

Pokémon TCG: Sword & Shield—Evolving Skies (swsh07) is the seventh expansion of the Sword & Shield series, released on 27 August 2021 with 237 cards. The set celebrates the triumphant return of Dragon-type Pokémon to the TCG alongside a full rainbow of Eeveelution cards, with Rayquaza VMAX and all eight Eeveelution forms as Pokémon V and VMAX. Collectors prize Evolving Skies as home to some of the most coveted alternate art cards of the modern era.

Which Pokémon cards are in Evolving Skies?

Evolving Skies stars Rayquaza V and Rayquaza VMAX, Duraludon V and Duraludon VMAX (in its Gigantamax form), plus all eight Eeveelutions — Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon — each appearing as Pokémon V and several as VMAX. The most chased cards are the alternate art secret rares: Umbreon VMAX (nicknamed "Moonbreon"), Rayquaza VMAX Alt Art, Sylveon VMAX Alt Art, and Dragonite V Alt Art, alongside stunning alternate full art V cards for Umbreon, Espeon, Rayquaza, and Sylveon. Rainbow rares and gold secret rares round out the secret rare slots and push the set's total to 237 cards.
