Pokémon Fusion Strike
Released on 12 November 2021, Pokémon TCG: Sword & Shield—Fusion Strike is the eighth expansion of the Sword & Shield series and the largest set ever printed at the time, featuring 284 cards and spotlighting Mew VMAX as its centrepiece alongside an entirely new Battle Style: Fusion Strike. Collectors and players chase this set for its breathtaking alternate-art secret rares, headlined by the highly sought-after Gengar VMAX Alternate Art.
Which Pokémon cards are in Fusion Strike?
Fusion Strike puts Mew VMAX front and centre with its versatile Cross Fusion Strike attack, joined by Gengar VMAX, Espeon VMAX, Chandelure VMAX, Boltund VMAX, and the three Galar starters in their Gigantamax forms — Rillaboom VMAX, Cinderace VMAX, and Inteleon VMAX. The set's most-wanted chase cards are the alternate-art secret rares for Gengar VMAX, Mew VMAX, Espeon VMAX, Mew V, Genesect V, Celebi V, and Inteleon VMAX, plus rainbow rares for Mew VMAX, Chandelure VMAX, Boltund VMAX, and Greedent VMAX. Full-art Supporter cards — including Elesa's Sparkle and Chili & Cilan & Cress — and gold-stamped energy and Item cards round out the secret-rare portion of the set.
