One Piece Animal Kingdom Pirates
Animal Kingdom Pirates (ST-04) is one of the four launch decks in the One Piece Card Game starter deck series, released on 25 August 2022. Led by a purple Kaido Leader, it fields the Beast Pirates from the Wano arc — King, Queen, Jack and the Tobiroppo including Ulti, Who's.Who, Black Maria, Page One, Sasaki and X.Drake — and showcases purple's DON!!-manipulation gameplay.
Which cards are in Animal Kingdom Pirates?
The deck uses 17 different cards — 1 Leader, 2 Super Rares and 14 Commons — in multiples to form the 50-card deck. The Leader, Kaido (ST04-001, 5,000 power, 5 life), carries one of the deck's signature effects: return 7 DON!! to your DON!! deck to trash one of your opponent's Life cards. The purple game plan is to build up DON!! quickly and spend it on oversized effects and Characters. The Super Rares are Kaido (ST04-003) and King (ST04-004), joined by events such as Brachio Bomber and the Onigashima Island stage card.
