What is your card worth?
Look up the market price of any Pokémon card, in every print and condition.
What makes a Pokémon card valuable?
Scarcity comes first. Older sets were printed in far smaller numbers than today, and few of those cards survived in good shape. Rarities that turned up only a handful of times per set, like the Gold Star cards of the EX era, sit near the top for that reason.
Condition decides the rest. These prices are for Near Mint copies: a crease, worn edges or a scratched holo can cut a card's value in half, while a professionally graded gem mint copy can sell for many times the price listed here.
Then there is demand. Collectors pay the most for the Pokémon they grew up with, which is why Charizard, Lugia, Rayquaza and the Eeveelutions show up again and again, and for modern alternate art cards whose illustrations made them instant favorites.
Frequently asked questions about the most valuable Pokémon cards
How are these cards ranked?
By market value: what an ungraded card in Near Mint condition sells for on the wider market right now. Asking prices on Cardpeer are left out, so a single listing can't move a card up the list. Each print appears once, even when it was printed in several languages.
Are graded cards included?
No. The prices are for raw, ungraded copies in Near Mint condition. A PSA 10 or BGS 9.5 copy of the same card usually sells for much more; graded listings are on each card's page.
How often does the ranking change?
Market values update every day, so cards climb and drop on their own. Nobody sets the order by hand.
Why are so many older cards at the top?
Cards from the early 2000s were printed in much smaller runs, and only a fraction survived in Near Mint condition. Modern cards are printed in far larger numbers, so only the rarest alternate arts reach these prices.
How do I find out what my own cards are worth?
Search for your card in the Cardpeer price checker. It shows the current market price of every print and every condition.
