One Piece Monkey.D.Luffy
Monkey.D.Luffy (ST-08) is the eighth deck in the One Piece Card Game starter deck series, released on 24 July 2023 alongside the Yamato deck (ST-09). It is the first starter deck built around a single character's story: a black Monkey.D.Luffy Leader joined by the people who shaped his journey, from Shanks, Makino and Koby to Monkey.D.Garp, Nefeltari Vivi, Shirahoshi and Uta.
Which cards are in Monkey.D.Luffy?
The deck uses 15 different cards — 1 Leader, 2 Super Rares and 12 Commons — in multiples to form the 50-card deck. The Leader, Monkey.D.Luffy (ST08-001, 5,000 power, 5 life), gives a rested DON!! card back to himself whenever a Character is K.O.'d during your turn, rewarding black's K.O.-focused removal game. The Super Rares are Uta (ST08-002) and Shanks (ST08-005), and the Commons include early-story pieces such as Higuma, Laboon and the Gum-Gum Pistol event.
